Depends on what track you want to drive on, Akina is dominated by Cappuchino, DC2 takes on Irohazaka and Akagi, the AE86 Trueno is pretty good on Myougi, and the Sil80 takes the cup for Usui :licka: but actually the best all around car in my opinion is the FD3S Spirit R, if you wnat a challenge drive the AE85 (slow as hell :p ) or just pick the car you like and stick with it (BNR34 for me)

You really like that car dont you? :licka: its not hard to drive, the MRS is a pain. Alot of people use the SW20 (not sure why) if you want a real challenge try the Levin. :licka:

Yeah....cause the Levin is a slow ass car...that's the challenge. The reason I keep bringing up the SW20 is cause I just started building one up. My favorite car is the FC though. Plus...I always wanted an MR2 in real life, love the styling. Same with the MkII Turbo RX7 (which I'll never have :banghead: )

yeah same here, i'd buy an MR2...but i haven't heard a lot of good things about it...
i really want to buy either an SW20 or a Trueno. the Trueno has a bit of a twist cuz some ppl r tellin me i might have to import one from Japan...wonder how much that's gonna cost.

The MR2 is the shizz nit....you can take turns with that car at very high speeds...requires a lot of skill though...

Nooo it cant, compared to of the slower cars it "can" but it is a slow ass MF.

:iagree: now. I just got to the end of the SW20 customization...i thought there would be something to help the top speed in the end there somewhere...but there wasn't. So while I really like the MR2 in real life I don't think it's so cool anymore in the Initial D arcade. I do like how it corners though...it's just not fast. That may be hypocritical but it's the truth.

Same here, the cars are rated reaaal weird, a powerhouse like the r34 gets smoked by a stock AE86

It all depends on the driver! Dorikin has proved this over and over. I believe he still remains undefeatable in his 160hp AE86 on the downhill courses right? All those 600-800 hp powerhouses all tried to race against his AE86, but lost in the end because his AE86 was lighter and the course was downhill :p Its all about the skill
Thats why in my opinion, drag racers are boring... :licka:

yup i think racing in a straight line with alot of power is boring. Course racing is more of a challenge.

Depends what kind of course racing, in my opinion i think autocross is boring and time trialing is boring. No offense to any autocross lovers but if your idea of excitement is missing a cone by only 3 inches then....wheel to wheel racing is what its all about, even if i have to race in the SR20DE cup  its worth it, because teaches you to be aware of the other cars and its the closest ill ever get to real racing, huh? :licka: :licka:

i guess the whole drag racing thing isn't very fun...but hey have u ever tried it? like actually race someone? because the way they put it, it's a great experience. then again, where am i gonna find a good course here in Vancouver that i can drift on n it has no traffic in the early hours?

I agree with rally and GT, but if you are drifting on the street, get OFF the streets and race on the track, where your supposed to. Just because you saw them drifting on a street on an anime doesnt mean its real I guess this is the generation of Initial D and D1 racers... :headshake a little bet better than FnF ricers but alas...

Evo7 isnt a mad car, but its a car that doesnt really have a home course advantage...
Dont switch to the DC2 just because its the best, or because everyone else uses it, stick to the car that you like. And just get good with it.
But yes, the DC2 is the best at the last two maps.
And they suck on Akagi DH wet, so if one of those retards ever challenge you in a DC2...and if you dont want to be challenged, just turn off accept challengers...
