Ok what are all the differences between the prelude motor and the accord?

Prelude has an h22. Accord has f22. h22 puts out about 195 hp, and f22 puts out about 125. But swapping a prelude engine into an accord is pretty much the same as driving a prelude, because they both weigh about the same.

I know the lude motor puts out quite a bit more then the stock accord but I mean is that just all the engine or what?

They are totally different motors, using totally different technologies in different combinations. The H22 is Dual Overhead Cam (2 camshafts), the F22 is SOHC (Single over head cam) - 1 camshaft. The H22 has VTEC, the F22 does not....Pretty much everything about them is different, there are a few parts that are interchangable, but not a lot.

If a 5th generation Accord is 2899 lbs. And the Prelude is 3025 lbs. Does that mean swapping an H22 into an Accord mean it will be faster than a stock Prelude? Sorry to butt in...just curious.

swappin in a H22 in an accord will make it about as even as a Prelude.

well, they can be a little faster. most swaps are done using 93-95 jdm engines. they have 200hp(10 more than US counterpart) and theyre also obd1. you can also get one with lsd which also helps with acceleration. and then like pointed out, it matters on what gen accord you put it into. i think the 4th gens are the lightest that it can be swapped into... then as the years go up, so do the curb weights, from what ive seen anyways.
