Loweing Fujimi S15

I know a couple of you out there know how to lower the Fujimi S15 could some of you tell me how.

I especially know you guys from SG know how to lower your S15's. :grinyes:

THX for the help, while I wait I try to see how it's done.

I lowering down by cuting my suspension.
also, adjust the wheel arch. Front alignment and rear are off...
tip: Make sure you have decided on rims to fit...(especially the size), then do you lowering...

Things you need...

Tamiya 0.2mm pla-rod
Pin-Vised tool
Super-glue (incase something cock up!) :icon16:
Fujimi Spacer,
lot's of p-cap

That's all...

for my cars i just open up the body mounts with a dremel and a file that way when the body sits on the chassis it sits about 1- 1.5 mm lower.. i think its alot easier than cutting up the suspension. :screwy:

I don't think that would always work. Do you have any pics.

That would probably create problems with fitment of the interior and engine (if the kit has one). I also think the cutting of the suspension way of lowering is more accurate.

true about the engine it would probably be better to cut the suspension but with the models i've lowered (all fujimi and aoshima) i've had no problems with the car looking funky i try to make the car look streetable imo if its slammed to where the wheels rub the fenders it doesn't look realistic

For the front I've use the solution as Shorty4859....... I've a pic of my Slykine R32 chassis, for the the S15 try the same solution. When you've cut the chassis you must still cut the suspensions. I've use this for my S14. I hope that help you......
