compatable cd changers

1. Does anyone know what brands of cd changers are compatable with the factory stereo?
2. Is the wire for the cd changer already there?

I read that the connector on back of the stock unit is vehicle specific.

I am also trying to replace the CD unit, anyone know how the connectors are wired? Descritions of what each of the wiring does?
