Are there any ECU chips available for the Si? If so, are they worth the money? Do they lower the amount of RPMs when vtec kicks in?

Lower the RPM's??? :headshake Aftermarket programs change the VTEC cross-over, rev-limit, and fuel maps.

Oh ok, I was under the impression that they changed it so the vtec engaged at a lower rpm, say 4500 rpm's.

Okay, I see what you mean now. That's exactly what I said. The RPM at which VTEC comes on is reffered to as the cross-over point. You just worded it badly. Yes it lowers that point as well as the other things I previously stated.
