S1000 Article

i was reading an article today.. i think it was in the sept issue of road and track or something.. anyway a really small piece about how honda is losing roadster market to the miata and the z3, due to price and so on .. so apparently honda is making an S1000, in japan, chances of seeing US soil are small.. it's gonna be a 1.0L 120hp.. they gave a picture and i wasn't thrilled.. but then again who cares what i think.. lol
but it seems they are trying to make a honda miata..
guess we'll see..

The S2000 is probably or at least IMO the best roadster as far as performance goes.

They are in a tough spot, right now.

The car is really a purest's car. It's not trying to be a luxury sports car like the Z4, Lexus, TT, etc. Thats what makes it what it is.

The engine, trans, and suspension are works of art.

But the S2000 has one major problem, the price, and retail value
It has to hurt, them.

i agree and disagree with you.. it is work of art, as far as price goes.. i wish it was cheaper but it whips the ass of bmw, audi, porsche, mb, lex, and pretyt much any other roadster like that .. althought there has been a new gen of roasters like the z which are competing now.. but the s2k is not overpriced for the performance it puts out..
