Bomex Style Skyline R34(PROGRESS)

Hey guys, I received my R34 on Wed. and i just started some things on it. I cut out the trunk so I could now put in working subs! Im thinking about routing the wire through the gap in the side of the wheelwell and body, so i could connect it to a CD player or MP3 player. Sorry for not posting up pics, Im at my friends house and I have no Internet service, so i cant use the internet. I'll try to post pics by tomorrow. :feedback:

Please use a lot of pics. Some of us are new to modeling and probably will not know what you are talking about unless there is a pic. Including me I have only done two models so I am really new to the whole thing.

i'm gonna hinge onto the underside of the interior, the part that sticks out to meet the back window.

Here are the pics, i think i might need to reprime later becuz i need to add fender flares to it.

I decided not to do the fender flares, im ordering some decal paper off of hlj and im making my own bomex decals, finished the chassis also, i'll post up pics later.

Please tell me your doing a bomex body kit to match the bomex decals

good point, i have that pic in your avitar, thats not strictly a bomex skyline. thats the nismo bodykit on it. if you were building a bomex skyline wouldnt you have at least made one or two changes to the bodywork?

just because something has a sticker on it , doesn't mean its sponsered mr2 racer.....

nah dude, i think this is a really cool project with the lights and etc... but i wasn't just wondering what was BOMEX on it other than the decals???


i have no problem with mr2 racer...

I reprimed the body and sprayed it ts-40 metallilc black. Some spots need a little touch up but i'll do that at a later time.

Its easy, once you have uploaded your pics do teh following

Click on the photo you want to link
then right click photo and go to properties
highlight the Url
and include that url in your attachments, and
that folks is how you add pictures to your threads

TEIN Suspension Yo! Looking clean, when are u gonna clear coat it?

Is the color coat or primer? If it's either; it has a terrible surface IMO :eek7: Other than that it's looking good.

Thats the paint coat, i dont know y it came out like that but o well.

Its was cuz of the primer, the primer did not go on smooth and he never sanded it good so it was still bumpy and just sprayed over, so that is why it is like that. My paint jobs are usually smooth because i sand my primer so its smooth.

Nothing is really "BOMEX" on it, its just he is replicating the car in his Avatar, its just a normal Skyline with a BOMEX decal on the front of the car. Some of the things he replicated were TEIN Suspension, BlitZ Intercooler, and a HKS Hi Power Exhaust System.

Its an HKS intercooler, still need to work a little on it to get the curves.
