Maxima equivalent is the I30 or the I35 now that the Max has a 3.5.
There is no Infiniti equivalent of the Altima.
The G20 is the Infiniti equivalent of the Nissan Primera, which is not sold stateside, but is sold in Japan and Europe. The Primera comes with 1.6, 1.8, or 2.0 engines, the G20 only gets the 2.0 and comes with many standard features that are optional on the Primera.
The Infiniti G35 is the newest itineration of the Nissan Skyline, and though it is on the same platform and engine as the 350Z, they are very different cars.

well, now that they are both on the same page I guess they look similar but not the same kit. unless other companies r33 kit is a bit different.
heres the r34 and the onlyt thing i think that looks the same as the g20 is the holes on the sides are divided into 2 instead of 1 like on the r33

Actually, the 350z and the G35 are totally diffrent platforms, but do both have the 3.5. A G35 is a Skyline, but a 350z even in JDM terms is a Fairlady Z, not the same cars, totally diffrent bodys and frames... :)

Au contraire..
The 350Z and the G35 share the same RWD FM (Front Midship) platform that underpins the FX.
References? You got it.

From Motor Trend http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedan/112_0209_nissan350Z/The all-new 350Z picks up on the original scent. And in the intervening years since the 300ZX exited these shores, Nissan has developed an all-new front-engine rear-drive platform worthy of the Z moniker. It's called the FM (for front-midship) platform. To keep Z-Car costs down, this foundation will be shared with a slew of Nissan and Infiniti products, the first of which are the Japan-market icon Nissan Skyline and U.S.-market Infiniti G35.
I never said anything about them sharing body panels. That, of course, is not the case.
They share platforms, engines, and some other mechanicals, but not model types, body panels, significant interior bits, etc.
