I want to hook up a '99 V6

My brother wants to spend a few bucks on his accord and I was just wondering what kind of gains an intake, or header, or exhaust will add. I own a Civic and individually each one will add only up to like 7hp, but on a V6 I'm sure they will be a bit higher though. Can somebody give me some numbers so I can let him know?

i'm not aware anybody dynoed their car to see gain after intake install so i cann't say what you will see after intake install.
headers will give 10-15whp, most of it on top end. that due to their design, its 3-1. there new headers coming up, they will be equal lenght headers, so they will give most of gain at bottom and middle of power band.
with exhaust you may see up 10whp gain, its on top end on power band, but it will lose power on lower end.
there is much more stuff avalable for AV6 then just I/H/E.
tell your brother to sign up to v6p (www.v6performance.net), that site is huge source of information for accord v6. :biggrin:

He's not a motorhead geek like me, he just wants a couple little things for some sound and a bit of hp. 10-15 whp... I wish Civics responded to simple mods like that.
