I was just wondering if someone could help me? I connected a new battery in my 1983 camaro Z28, when i did that i left a wire off the positive terminal that i thought was for my EQ. When I turned the key I lost all power to the vehicle. All my fuses are good. My battery works fine, been tested. So I was wondering what i broke and where it is located. I think it might be a main resister or a fusible link but have no idea where to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :banghead:

You blew a fuseable link. if you follow the red (positive)wire from the battery to the starter , you will see 3 to 5 wires (depending on your power options)connected to the same post on the starter.you can reroute the wires up to the battery then connect one at a time and see if you have power to accessories, turn on the head lights, dome light, radio, heater fan. wend you connect a wire see if it gives part of the car power. one or more will not replace the fuseable link(s). when you buy the new link mesure up the car wire and cut it, that way you'll know you've got all of the old link out.
