IS Skyline gt-s any good? Or is the gtr the only one worth getting?

There are many many different models of Skyline, not just GTR or GTS
R32 and R34 GTS = 2 litre DOHC non turbo
R33 GTS = 2 litre SOHC non turbo
R32 GTSt= 2 litre single turbo
R33 GTS25t = 2.5 litre single turbo
R34 25GT-t = 2.5 litre single turbo
R32 and 33 GTS25 = 2.5 non turbo, same as R34 25GT
R32 GTS4 = ATTESSA 4WD with 2L turbo
R33 GTS4 and R34 25GT-4 they got rid of the turbo but still ATTESSA 4WD (All other Skylines - except GTR obviously - are RWD)
Also in the R32 there were GTE with 2L SOHC non turb, and Gxi with 1.8L 4 cylinder (all the others are 6s)
And no the GTRs are not the only ones worth getting. :D Myself I have an R33 GTS25t, and it's exactly what I want. For around the same money over here you can get an R32 GTR or an R34 25GT-t, and opinions are divided between which is better. It really depends on what you want. Any of them is better (I reckon) than other cars around the same price point - they just feel better put together, and better appointed.

Depends where you are. If you're in the US then I wouldn't consider anything else than a GT-R.

Personally I think if it's powered by an RB20DE then it is definitely not worth it- even with the Turbo it is not really worth it (Although the R32 GTS4 is a REASONABLY good bet- especially with the AWD)
The RB25DE(T) is a much nicer motor- actually has a reasonable displacement- and is a good motor to build if you want good performance nowhere near as good as a GTR though- but then again what is? (In the price range I mean- there are plenty of nicer more expensive cars but lets not get into that)

i'm a big fan of the GTR Vspec
I've seen a couple of the R34 25Gt-t and they don't look quite as good.
