Need some modelling help for a beginner

Hello, i a beginner at modelling and i was wondering if someone could help me out wit ha few things:

1) I have tamiya clear x-22 for clear coating over acrylics, can this be washed off a brush with water like the rest of the tamiya acrylics?

2)I use tamiya spray paint for ALL big surfaces, but i dont know how to spray it on right and i always mess up so in need some help with how many mist coats and wet coats and times inbetween and after

3)Also, when spraying bodies, i can never get the sides with an even pass of the can, is there a technique to this?

4)I also have tamiya clear lacquer ts-13 for clear coating my spray painted peices and iwas wondering if this is sprayed like the rest of the tamiya spray paints or if it needs to be applied differently (more coats, drying time, etc.)

I had problems with this. Some people hold their body stands and rotate it with their hand to get coverage all around. I didn't like that method, too much twisting. I took one of my AutoArt rotating display stands, covered it up, and attached my body stand to it. Turn it on, and spray away. It moves steadily, and you get good coverage everywhere without having to contort your arm.

Go to Home Depot or any other Home Center, they usually sell small pre cut round plywood table tops. I bought one that is about 12" or so. NEar there you can get a lazy Suzanne for it( its two msmall metal plate connected by bearings) Attach that to the bottom center of the wood, drill some holes in the top of the wood so you can place you holders in it. I use old coat hangers and bamboo skewers. Now you have a nice turntable stand for under $5. Will post some pices early next week if you need to see it.

o i do have two more questions though (couldn't find in search) i know you guys are always talking about not getting skin oils on the plastic before painting and should wear gloves, but what about when the paint is already applied? is it ok to handle the peice then? also, the guys at my hobby shop told me to use tamiya liquid glue for clear parts, is this a good choice for clear glue?

Painting - are you talking about the car body or little bits and pieces?

Glue - Tamiya have got a few glues - if you're referring to the Tamiya cement - DON'T use it for clear parts, they'll fog up. Most guys use Krystal Klear or just regular white elmers glue.

Don't worry too much about finishes on the side surfaces.. You'll always get some over spray somewhere.
You can always rub them done later this a good rubbing compound from your local auto shop. (or even tooth paste).
