Newbie Help

I recently (yesterday) won these speakers off eBay:

and I was wondering how I should hook them up so I can get the most power to them without blowing them. I am able to purchase a new amp if required. Thanks for the help, you can all stop laughing now.

you want my opinion. yank those subs out of that box and ditch the rest. put them in a new box and wire them in paralel. by this what you do is the power line comes off the left side pos line on the amp and goes toe sub#1 then splits off and goes to sub #2. neg comes off the right side neg and goes to the neg on sub #2 and splits off to the neg on sub #1. that will put them at there lowest possible resistance allowing you to push more power through them. if you want to keep it how it is just run the pos from left side pos to both boxes and neg from right side to both negs.

I generally agree, except wiring this way I think pushes the amp beyond it's ohm rating for mono, this is a 2 channel?

i didnt think that having a 2ohm load was a problem as most amps are 2 ohm minimum.
