1. Start out at about 50mph+
2. Pull in the clutch
3. Lightly apply the front brake till the forks preload
4. Apply more force to the brake
5. Hope there's no sand.

I gave what you said a try and nothin happened except for my front brake locking up and started to go out of control so either my bike is to heavy or theres somethin else to it.

THERE HAS TO BE A SECRET TO IT or my bike is just to damn big but that wouldn't make much since when i've seen many of 1000cc bikes and bigger doin em.

I don't know, thats how I lift the rear. Let's see, I start at about 50, then apply some front brake till the forks compress. At this point I'm going 20 to 35, I apply a whole lot of front brake and I'm doing a stoppie. I'm guessing here, but it sounds like you didn't let the forks preload enough. I had the same problem when I first tried.

Be extra carefull doing stoppies, unlike wheelies when you go to far you can just press the rear brake, when you go over your balancing point on a stoppie, you are crashing 100% of the time (unless you have skateboards attatched to your back so you can roll upside down and then make videos of you doing this selling them over the internet making lots of money to fund your stunting in which you trash many bikes but just buy new ones one after the other so that you can keep making videos)

hahahaha, one of the funniest things I've ever seen was some drunk moron who was trying to do stoppies on an SV650 on a REALLY lousy road bed. He tried 3 times to do one and didn't even remotely get the rear up.... so since he couldn't do it at slow speeds, he decided he'd do it at higher speeds. Back up the street Mr. Moron comes.... Locks up the front brake.... so up comes the rear end... 7 o'clock, 8 o'clock, 9'oclock, 10, 11, 12,.... 1,2,3. hahahaha. Mr. Moron goes all the way over and everyone who thought he was a moron (which he was) starts to clap and point and laugh (myself included). The moral of the story is.... Know where your limits are, and know WHEN AND WHERE is a good time to play around with stunts. ;)

so how does a endo work is it the same process except you do it before your about to stop? doesn't seem like you'd do it the same way

That's a good question. I belive that you release the brake a little after you get the rear up, so you keep rolling. However I have yet to do this so I'm not sure.

Wait, endo as in like a rolling stoppie??? I'm confused. In Pittsburgh we use endo/stoppie equally.

I thought a stoppie was rolling, and its just the better you are the farther you roll, and endo is just another word for it, maybe im wrong though.

Endo and stoppie seem to be interchangable. I just figured that he was asking about rolling endo/stoppies. :)
