Need advice on engine tuning/swap

I have a 90 GS teg, was wondering if I should just rebuild it with high comp. pistons, eagle rods, rebuild the head n all that fun stuff....or get another engine?...because the 90's only got 130hp/121ft of torque......For the price of getting another engine i could have all or most of the performance parts to rebuild the engine i have..the B18A1....would a swap be better than a complete rebuild with performance parts or no?...is the basic question. thx
