i just put a dohc zc in my 89 crx si, and so i took it to midas to get a lil fuel injection cleaning. the guy was awesome, he also fixed my idling, fixed my vacuum hoses (they were hooked up wrong), bolted up my down pipe for me, and tighten my alternator belt....and all this wasnt suppose to be done, but he said he would fix it for me and just charge labor. the fuel injection cleaning, oil change, and all the mis. stuff he did was only $115. i thought it was pretty good, and he didnt have to fix all the other stuff but did anyways. my car runs soooooooo good now, feels like new :iceslolan ill definatlely go back there.

i see midas as being very expensive, and they try to get you to buy every fucken thing they got, they say you need all this when sometimes you really dont. when it comes to brakes i'd rather just do it myself than take it to them and pay a shit load labor

I went to Midas to have my muffler welded on as well as 2.5" piping. They did a great job except for one part. Where the old piping ran over the axle, they ran it under. So look how much clearance I have now.

I can't even get a coke can under there. Think I scrape it a lot? Hell yes lol.
I got everything done for $75, which was a fairly good deal I think. Other than that one thing, I was pretty happy with them. Quality of service was great as well.

I have nothing but good stuff to say about midas,
when my tempo was stalling way back when, it went threw 2 garages who didn't manage to fix it, midas did it all for 100 bucks labour, there was a vacume hose missing and it was cloggin up my exaust.
then when i took my precidia in to get tune up after i bought it, they told me it was a piece of shit and a girl who works there talked to me for like a half hour about how to find a good car and all this car shit.
i think it basically depends whose working there, but i think they do encourage their emploees to go the exrta mile

It all comes down to the mechanic that actually does the work. If hes competent then you'll like the results, if he's a fuckwit then you won't be. Once you do find a good mechanic, stay with them.

Did you tip the guy? That was really nice of him to that for you. If you did not tip the dude, I wouldn't bother going back untill you do.
Good score though!
