stock boost

Anybody knows the stock boost pressure 4 a 2003 gti 1.8t?

In 2003 the 1.8T boost has many variables that effect the turbo output, the ecu takes all the info it gathers from steering direction, gear, throttle position, amount of load the car is under, is the a/c on...then it over analzes everything and limits the boost by limiting the amount of air flow. So boost goes from 4 or 5 all the way to 8 or nine... you need to take your GTI to a Neuspeed authorized dealer near you or just a tuner that really know something about chips and get a new chip to give the turbo a chance to breathe from 15 all the way to 19psi at 19 you will probably pull around 230bhp, not bad for five hundred dollars and about an hour.

Make sure to get an upgraded diverter valve before getting chipped, it'll keep your turbo running longer. Also, a race n75 wastegate valve will help out if you are sticking with the factory turbo.
