Have you ever put money down on a bet for something?

Nothing formal either, more like, "I'll bet you $5 that this doesn't happen..." I'm think I'm becoming a bookie. :bloated:

i bet my friend in some games of pool. i won and we did double or nothing and i won again. we played some more games, and i racked up more money. of course he came up with some lame-ass excuse so he never paid me the fifteen bucks he ended up owing me. that guy is cheap.... i hate him!!

I bet my brother $10. I won, he denied it, my mom said that he deserved the $10 anyway, so I said:
"Buck, buck, buck, buck, buck, buck, buck, buck, buck, buck. There, 10 bucks."
I've bet friends before, won everytime. I haven't bet anyone lately though.

I usually have a small bet on the Melbourne Cup each year. Don't win very much though! :p

Well, sense i am one of the people betting agianst DantesInFerno, i think i should let everyone know that i am going to win it!!!!!! :D

I dont bet on anything, especially between friends. Even between friends, money ruins friendships.

People get pissed over a couple of bucks, and then shit starts to happens. Friendly bets are ok, as long as money doesnt change hands.

that bet i was talking about earlier was with my best friend. i didnt care much about it, just joked around with him because of the stupidity of his excuse. we're cool...

I bet people $1,000,000 all the time. Never got my million though....

I have done a fair bit of wagering on drag racing. I have not done that since I have been in New Zealand but may start again. There seems to be a few gearheads that need to come back down to earth hahaha

Last semester at school me some of my friends and I set up stair races after lunch and bet on people. We were pretty bored to think of that.
