illeagel colors

yeah, i live in MA, and i was wondering what neon colors are illeagel, and what happens if you do it anyway?

i'm not sure about ma, but in wa all neons are illegal when you have them on and driving. all neons are legal when you park your car and have it on just for show though

well...I bought a couple of the replacement wiper fluid nozzels, and they are red LED's...I also bought a red neon liscence plate frame, and i dont want to get pulled over if those are on. A friend said that red might be illeagel in MA, but i dont know how to find out for sure.

all of them are illegal in alabam when u r driving but i was told by 2 state troopers one night a while back that you can have any kind of lights you want on your car as long as they r turned off wehn u r driving in other words you can be parked all night long wioth them on just no driving

yo.. basically.... they are illegal everywhere.... u can put them on while ur driving... but u might get pulled over.... more for the license plate frame then the washer nozzles.... the reason for this is because they r a distraction to other drivers.... my suggestion..... drive wit them on... wait till u get pulled over.... then tell the cops u had no idea n now u know... good luck

C'mon, I'm 15 and I see shitty cars like yours at my high school everyday. It pisses me off, do us all a favor and take the crap off or drive it off a cliff and jump out before the edge. We wouldn't want anyone getting hurt, now would we? :nutkick:

P.S. Boosted331, in a year or so my firends droppin a Chevy 383 in his Datsun 280Z, if you ask me, that's gonna be too much car for a 16 or 17 year old. It's supposed to be a pretty simple swap, new motor mounts and a new transmission and that should be it. Good luck with yours.

Well IMO I have to give him some credit because he is right for saying it's his car and he can do what he pleases...Although IMO there's a huge difference between style and rice. Neon tube around license plate and led washer nozzles just look plain cheap! Especially whenever that's the only things done to the car (I don't know if you have done anything or not, I'm JUST saying) YOu can tell when people have really put an effort into adding style to their car and making it original. But these lil15-30 mods are not original in any way. Sorry dude but you do give Honda owners a bad name... :nono: just my :2cents: though

ok, i guess there is a misunderstanding here...first of all, I dont think I would be able to do a body kit and rims for awhile...Im 17 and just dont make that much money. So im gonna do what I can. I do plan on doing stuff to the engine as well. Already have an exhaust, so my next two mods would be a cold air intake and some headers. The way I see it, if your gonna talk the talk, you better be able to walk the walk. Im not just gonna make it look fast, its gonna be fast. But again, im limited by the amount of funds I have available to me. Serisouly, Im not just some punk kid who worships the fast and the furious (i actually hated that movie, but thats besides the point). I bought a honda because I knew it would last me a long time, and would be cheap to own. I was gonna get a classic camaro, but I wouldnt be able to afford to own it (rolled a corolla a few months ago, insurence is through the roof). So I went with the honda...and I wanna be able to customize it, so im gonna do stuff I like to do...it may not always agree with everyone elses tastes, but thats the whole point to customizing it.

they have to test it by shining light on it and measuring the reflection...so it doesnt distract drivers


thats why they stopped making fully chrome bumpers on cars
