Which would win ?

Between a 95 SHO 5 speed and an 86 Firebird auto with 305, both bone stock, which is quicker ?

This makes me sad being an f-body guy but I would say the SHO would win. If the firebird had a carb it would be slower than one with a the throttle body. For that year there was probably 3 or 4 different 305 firebirds. Anyhow the 3rd gen firebirds got massive torque stock but not much HP and the engines run too hot. I would say if the firebird had POSI depending on the model of bird, the firebird would win off the line then the SHO would rule after that.

LOL. I beat one of those with my old 4-dr Civic, and that same Civic didn't have any prayer of beating a properly-driven, stock SHO.

Id say the SHO would win.

SHO hands down. the 305 rally sports aren't even the real camaros of the time. they were almost equivalent of the V6 comaros now.
