anyone know of an easy way to remove scratches? also does anyone know how to fix a spot where it has been touched up? i got the car and the person that had it before me did touch ups and the touchup paint is not flush with the rest of the paint. if anyone has any suggestioni would really appriciate it. thanks

touch up paint to fix the scratches, be careful so that you don't do it like the person before you did it, and then after you touch that all up have your car buffed....

is there any way to fix the touch up spots by hand? i have some rubbing compound. will that work? thanks

ok, so i tried the rubbing compound and it didn't work so where can i get it buffed at and how much would they charge? also would it take out little tiny scratches all ove my hood? they almost look like little bird feet marks. maybe from the sun or something. thanks

Any auto detailing shop, if there isn't any around then a body shop might do it for ya. You're looking at between 25 and 40 bucks. It should take out most of those little scratches.

The bird feet looking things are paint cracks - no buffing will solve that problem - only repainting. If you can feel the scratch with your finger nail - no buffing will solve that problem either. Some medium scratches can be removed but only by damaging the paint slighty.
Mask off the area where the touch-up is not level - leave area to be fixed exposed with a slight amount of fresh surface. Sand with fine wet/dry paper - the apply paint in light coats until even.
At my shop I would charge $75 minimum for exterior work with paint in average condition.
Air brush is the best touch-up method IMO.

what should i do if i don't have an airbrush? just take it somewhere to get it fixed? thanks
