Shifter position change

Is there a way to get the shifter moved back a little bit. I'm 6'1", I'm sitting a bit too close to the wheel for my liking. I was wondering if there is a product out there, like those sports shifters or aftermarke knobs that will either raise the height of the shifter or move the shifter position back a little. I'm not talking about much maybe an inch or two will do. I feel like i have to stretch to hit third or fifth.

YTou could have a shop make you a new shifter that has an ofset on it to make it sit further back.
