Well its been raining the last couple of days and I know my car has had a small leak in the hatch for a while and I have not been able to fix it because it leaks right over the tail lights wear it meets the car. I was thinking of putting some silicon or something to cover it all up???

But any how. I was driving in the rain the other day and I notice that water is just streaming through my passenger door panels from the seems. I was like "NOOOOO". So I go home put her in the garage and take her apart. Go back in the rain and watch as the water drains down the window hits the weather stripping that and leaks right in the corner closest to the rear view mirror :cwm27: . But then just out of curiousity I look at my drivers side and I feel it wet at the bottom of the door panel and sure enough I take them apart and it's leaking in the same place as my passenger :eek2:. No wonder my car be smelling like BOBO all the time!!! :1zhelp: I dunno what to do . I went to the dealer and they want 80.10$ each one. I WAS LIKE :banghead: "NOOOO". Anyone got any sugjestion on what to do and is this a frequent problem in hatch backs????

Thanx

go buy yourself the weatherstrip from an auto store, and just put it on urself.

as far as the hatch the clear RTV silicone works the best, just paste that shit everywhere on your taillights.

I don't think the weather stripping will work from the auto store because it makes contact with my window and every time I roll my window up and down it rubs against each other you know the seal right were the outer door panel meets with the windows. That's why?? I dunno maybe I can still try it?? I dunno.......... But does anyone know where I can get that type of part for cheap???

Are hatches are just really bad in rainy weather  but sweet on sunny days on dry pavment DRIFTing rules :)

OK I'm really confused. I called the dealer to get the part number for my damn weather stripping. Well I am confused because they keep giving me different part numbers. Then I got really confused when the guy asked me if I had a 3door or a 2 door. I though hatch backs were 2 doors because their is only 2 doors but I guess you can consider the hatch a another door so it could be a 3 door I guess. So my question is are their really hatch backs that don't have a hatch??? Is that what a 2 door is. And How can I find out what I really need because I'm trying to get it from majestic honda and each time I put each model number in it gives me something different so I don't know what to do anymore and gillman is charging me 80.68 and then goodsan wants like 51.29 so I'm confused in the price difference and stuff ARG HELP!!! :banghead:
