VW president Bernd Pischetsrieder has demanded changes be made to the car to make it... softer :frown: according to Autocar magazine. Not sure exactly what they mean by softer but it doesn't sound good at all. Apparently Pischetsrieder feels the car is too much like a racing car :screwy: The delays are also due to engine cooling problems and reliability issues with the 7 speed gearbox. :crying:

Well, the Veyron is supposed to be the ultimate car. The perfect blend of luxury, performance, and class. It is not a stripped-down racecar like the F40 or Enzo.

However, I've yet to see any car become better by being made "softer." "Softer" seems to mean "pussy-fied."
