Alright, people tell me to ditch my power steering and air condition (air conditioning doesnt work anymore its dead.)

They tell me it takes away a lot of horsepower from my engine.

Im running a 91 teg b18a1, its prolly got like 130 horse or so i dunno.
But really how much does it take away, if at all?

I mean theres prolly 15 lbs or so of air conditioning shit under my hood.

Any ideas?

it adds only 1-2 hp, but ur taking away some weight (which is always good).

so u lose some weight, add some power...that is why ppl say it is a good thing. but for a daily driven car...i dunno if its worth it jus so u can run .1 of a second faster....

Yea I agree you have to shave 100lbs off your car to pick up .1 second in the 1/4. I removed my powersteering b/c I hated the feel of it, but did not notice any gains that I could tell.
