Greenridge State Forest Maryland

I know that a few of you are Marylanders, and im packing up now for an extended weekend to Greenridge.

If you've been there this summer and have the answers please feel free to gimme some insight.


MV Smith- Is it still closed down on the other side of the river past the ranger station?

Catpoint- Did the rain this summer totally trash it again ...hopefully?

East Valley ORV trail- Earlier this summer it was closed down about halfway around to the right off of banners overlook due to some fallen trees, but there werent any signs up. If its still closed id like to know. Its really not fun going backwards along the ridge for 2 miles cause theres nowhere to turn around that doesnt involve taking out a tree or a bumper.

Oh and this is NOT going to be the maiden off road excursion for my X. Shes too new, too not broken in, and not yet dressed for the occasion.

The hardbodys gonna be bashing her way through the mud this time out.

Haven't heard about or been to Green Ridge in quite a while, and I've not heard of any of the closures or trails you mention I'm afraid.
I'd suggest you give the SF office a call at (301) 478-3124 and ask.
