Yeah, I put waaay too much off! My so-called singing career, I've been putting on hold for some of the most stupidest reasons. Hopefully soon, that will change!

Its quite funny for me that this topic was brought up now because I have a major VB programming assignment due in 2 days and so far all I have done is read it over. Now most ppl would say thats not too bad, except for we have had the assignment for a week now, and its supposed to take around 13-15hrs to complete, [just under 10 for a good logical programmer]

I actually work much better at the last minute than I do if I try to work bit by bit at an assignment. When the heat is on, I usuially do ok.

At work, I dont procrastinate that much. The work is enjoyable [for the most part] and its usuially pretty slack.

And in everyday life I procrastinate the worst. I wait till im on my last pair of clothes b4 I wash clothes [sometimes Im sitting around in my boxers waiting for clothes :eek: ]. I put out the trash as the garbage truck is coming, I wait and dont bother getting gas for my car until the low fuel light is on solid. The list goes on and on.

Yup, and it's seriously starting to show now, lol, any way to stop it?!

Okay ladies and gents...today has been an entire day of procrastination. I have a five page paper due on the organizational model of the Piedmont Peace Project, due tomorrow and I have 0 pages...and 0 words. I have the books I need sitting right here next to me...but nope...no paper. Any guesses as to what I'll be doing tonight? :p

Dude...I don't sleep much as it is...so, yes, I'll probably get in 4 hours or so. :D By the way...I'm starting on page 2!!! Darn social movements...

Like I do my homework the morning they are due or in class! I finish essays the morning they are due! I had a programming assignment. We had 2 weeks to work on it, I spent 3 days (I got 25% done, but thousands of lines of code). Like I have a broken scanner right now, but haven't gotten around to get it serviced. My car had overheating problems, didn't deal with it until it died on the roads several times! And the list goes on...

I must say that I don't think I'm much of a procrastinator. If I know something needs to be done that I really don't want to do, I'll do it so that it's over and done with.

I am the Queen of Procrastinaia, and Heep is the King (this may explain what I meant about Heep and I being married for those of you who caught it a while ago... :thinkerg: )

Anyway (as I procrastinate on doing research on my Final Speech project) I always am a biotch to be around when I am doing my work, but I like that rush of adrenaline... It's like tightrope walking when you know there's a net, but you still try to stay up anyway! I think I do better work when I have to push myself. Things otherwise are boring! :D

When I'm doing work, I'm messy...papers and books spread out around me...I leave my clothes where I toss them at the end of a long night. Yeah...*looking around room*...bed's not made, plant is dying, towel and pjs on the floor, books on my desk and chair, closet door is wide open, blow dryer still out on the counter, and somehow my keys got to the middle of the floor, right next to the backpack I dumped as soon as I walked in the door. *sigh* oh well...I'll clean up tonight. ;)
