I am at the very beginning of this project, has anybody done this in their accord, does it sound alright? It doesnt seem like there is much room, because it is shape awkward..... Any suggestions, comments?

people have done it by getting a big piece of wood to cover the area and cutting holes for the speakers..then sound deading it....thats how they cover up the holes bro. it will create a box like enclosure...

You've seen people just slap a piece of wood down and screw it down? Cuz ive been building supports and stuff, and im running into a shitload of problems with keeping it level and stuff.

the thing is is that the surface isnt level in the first place...u have to calculate the difference or find some miracle way to do it and then u can build from there...

so what exactly do u need help on?

The way i had to build the supports, one side is higher than the other, so how do i prevent this?

just wondering why u would want to put it there rather then a traditional box or any other custom enclosure

I used to have a normal box. But everytime i took a hard turn, the whole box moved, the amp slammed against the side of the trunk, and all the wires got ripped out of the amp. After this happened about 5 times, i decided i need something that wont move. So, this is the best i could come up with. Also, the box took up like my whole trunk.

ok well uneven huh...lets see...u can buy soem foam and put it between the trunk and the wood...this will create a self level.....at the same time sealing some holes....umm what have u tried doing? how is ur progress...

my bad...stupid AF server keeps saying its too busy so i dont get to go on here much.

Ya, damn server, its been driving me crazy. I finally worked it out, took me a couple hours, but at least its level now. I completely changed the design, and threw away like 4 cutouts that took me a couple hours to measure and cut. O well, its level. Thanks for the help tho.
