Hello everyone,
This is my first post here at AF, and I'll start with some of my more recent drawings. But first, an introduction...I'm 15, and really love most fast cars that don't hint of rice....ala. most japanese imports. I'm a big fan of motorracing ( F1, Cart...not NASCAR), well to be more exact, I'm pretty much obsessive with everything to do with F1 history....bascially before the "schumacher" era :)
Ok...time for some drawings :D
All of these ones have been done within the last year.
The first one is a Ferrari 312 36v driven by Chris Amon at the Mexican Grand Prix of 1967. It's not as good as I'd have liked it to be, but it's not getting changed any time soon :P

This second one is a Porsche 907 driven at the 1968 1000kms of Spa...in the rain
http://members.lycos.co.uk/nate2212/porsche_907.jpg
This is Gilles Villeneuve at Silverstone in a MClaren. He was an awesome fast F1 driver of the 70's and early 80's...and a Canadian  (Crappy scan...)
http://members.lycos.co.uk/nate2212/drawings/Gilles.jpg
This is him again in 1979 exiting one of the turns at the Dutch Grand Prix....note the opposite locking? :D
http://members.lycos.co.uk/nate2212/drawings/gvill-2.jpg
This is a Ferrari 250 Testarossa...but it was done on 2 pieces of paper taped together and only partially scanned...
http://members.lycos.co.uk/nate2212/testa_250.jpg
This next one is one of my favorites. Parnelli Jones in the Mustang just after lapping a backmarker in the Camaro in a late 1960's Trans-Am race....again, one of my favorites.
http://members.lycos.co.uk/nate2212/scca.jpg
This is a Lotus 72 (name of the driver escapes me...) at Montjuic(sp?) Park in 1970 in the Spanish Grand Prix.
http://members.lycos.co.uk/nate2212/montjuic.jpg
Here's a cartoon thing I did to experiment with some pencil crayons a few weeks ago...it's a Tyrrell 006 at the Nurburgring with the driver, F. Cevert. The style of the helmet is an inspiration of www.jimbamber.com (http://www.jimbamber.com)
http://members.lycos.co.uk/nate2212/cevert_cartoon.jpg
And the last one, i found it in one of my F1 books, I forget the car and the name of the driver, but I know it's the 1968 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch :)

What's wrong with the "Schumacher" era? I know he's not Mario Andretti but some pple have to move on so the newer tallent can progress.
Regardless, those are nice drawings. I like the Porsche 907 Most.
