Another Putty Question

Hi,
I started to do modifications for the first time on my most recent model. I used the Tamiya grey primer, to fill in some holes, and the sun roof. I applied a little extra putty over the sun-roof lines, and when I went to sand it down, it was really hard, and difficult to sand down.
I was wondering if I should use another type of putty for processes such as this.
Thanks

Start with a coarse sand paper such as 360 grit, and gently sand, so that you don't leave so many unnecessary scratches on other part. It's better cutting the paper in small pieces, too.
