I am seeing the assembly guide of the Nissan R390GT1 and there is a paint step that I do not understand
x-10:1 + x-12:1
I think that I need to mix the 2 colors
How do I do it and what tool can I use ?

Thanks

You're right - you mix two colours. Tool? Personally, I use medical syringes, this way I can get the exact ratio and also can store the mixed paint for some time.

How do you clean it after using the mix? Assuming that you are using enamel paint.

thanks

if you are brush painting your parts the easiest way to do it is to use the open lids of the paint pots, after you have shaken them up, as they have a layer of wet paint on. Dip your brush first in one, then in the other, as as you brush it on the paint mixes itself up. I think thats gunmetal and gold right? those colours work really well with that method, plus its quick and doesnt need any clearing up.
Well thats what i do anyway . . . :)

Usually I don't clean it, especially if I use enamel paint. I just take a new one next time I need to mix paint.

Just add 10 equal parts of x-18 paint and 1 part of xf-2. mix both and that's all

what you can also do is get a straw, mark on it how much paint you want to use. dip the straw into the paint to the mark, put your finger on the top of the straw, withdraw it and blotch it on some clear plastic (you know, just a sheet of plastic). take another straw and do the same with the other paint. mix them and tada :D you can either wash off the plastic sheet, or just let the paint dry and use another part of the sheet. thats how my brother used to do it for warhammer :iceslolan
