Anybody contributing to the AF Server Fund?

I know this has been posted around the board in a few spot - but I thought I'd ask here anyway.

Of course nobody is required to do anything, but I think there are enough of us working stiffs to kick in a couple bucks. :grinyes: I just seems to me that very few people want to contribute. I really thought there would be more. On one of the other boards I frequent, something equivelent was done a few years ago and there was a lot more $$ flowing in. Once the goal had been reached - they wouldn't take any more money and within a week the place was a rocket.

Again, I am not badgering anyone. Just thought a few more folks would have ponied up a bit. :2cents:

I'm trying to get the guys in the 240sx forum to donate money based on how many posts they make... Who knows if they actually will or not.

I'm definatly going to donate some money.

I am going to chip in a percentage or two, but paypal is down at the moment.

You don't need one. It's Paypal, you can send $$ straight out of your checking acct. or your Paypal acct.

Same problems as Dave, with teh no credit card, and account issues. It sucks not being able to donate when I wish I could so much :crying: I support AF no matter what though!

My bank accounts are fairly empty right now, but when I get a job I will have some money to donate.

In response to yoggs, yep, I happily donated all I had. I love this place and would like to see it to continue to grow. There are a lot of great ppl here and I now we can raise the money to get the server and keep AF running smoothly and without service interuptions.

So lets do it everyone. Donate today.

WOW have i been away from AF for that long?!?!? Whats this about a new server i though we just upgraded... well i dont realy need a reason but im definitely gona contribute if its for AF. But dang lets hope that number grows alot more by next week after the holidays of corse!! :icon16:

If I get a job at the place that offered me a job, I will try to come up with a little cash. Otherwise, as Gsteg would say edited in a few parts. I am just a poor 17 year old wasting my money on car audio as soon as I get it.

I have never used the internet for financial transactions,and don't intend to start now.If any of the kiwi crew has paypal,I'll be more than happy to forward a donatoion.

Of course I will be donating to the AF fund raiser. It's my duty and an honor :)

To those that don't have a credit card account - you can use a checking account through paypal as well. The routing and account number are all you need to get set up on there.

I am sure there are others like Mr. T that don't use the web for financial transactions and I am not going to use this thread to try and persuade you otherwise. I know I pay all (but a couple) bill through the web. I watch my account through the web as well and have not had any unauthorized access.

Anyway. I'm going to through in another contribution right now just because its a holiday here in the states and the beer has been going down quite well :cool:
