Well i visited Model Zone in bromley today, looking for a vaguely interesting kit to build, and after being in two minds as to wether or not to buy a Tamiya Enzo (£31 . . . thats nearly a whole days wages! :uhoh: ) I saw these kits on sale:

They are the Subaru Impreza WRC 01, Mitsu Lancer WRC 01, and Citroen Xsara WRC 01, all by Heller, who i think are the same company as good old Airfix. I wasnt sure wether to get them as they were cellophaned up so i could look at the parts, but the were £4.99 each, THATS LIKE £14.97 FOR ALL 3! :lol2: when you consider the tamiya subaru on it own is £18, i thought i couldnt go wrong, so bought all 3.
OK, so evidently the quality is exactly tamiya standards, but the kits are pretty well proportioned if a bit "fuzzy" on the detail front. The decals look pretty thin, but with a bit of work they should come out OK.
Oh, and before i go, they had the Fujimi Ford GT40 mk2 on the shelf, which i was also tempted by. Is this a decent kit? i might pick it up next week if i have time . . .
AND does anyone know of anywhere in south east england where i can get Microsol or something similar? ive looked everywhere and no-one has it. Can you even get it in the UK? ive never seen it before but im thinking its going to be useful on my 911Gt1.
