Plan to buy a long planned 1973 Firebird 400, but only saw pictures so far. I know interior need some work and front and rear valance needs some work to do. Guys ask 4000 $ for it and engine supposed to be good.
I plan to pay them a visit, but can you give some advise specific weak / focus points?
I was told that Chevy engines tend to be more reliable than the ones in the Pontiac? I just hope this is b...shit but are there specific weak areas?
I have seen some different values for original HP output. Who has reliable figure of the stock HP output on a 1973 400 F-bird.
Many thanks in advance

If the engine is stock u dont want it, its slow as balls and extremely underpowered....
Look for rust under the car as well as on the body... Also when your looking under the car check for holes in the floorpans.....
