Manual Conversion

I drive an automatic accord, not by choice. I love driving stick, i love it. I'm seriously thinking about doing a manual conversion. If i got decent parts from a junk yard, and payed somebody to do it(i would f it up i know). How much would i be looking at? realistically. I'm thinking about getting a lone. Has anybody on here done a manual conversion? Is it as good as the stock manuals? Any help or suggestions at all are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
