difference

What is the difference btwn the different integras? The gsr is the most expansive version i can find but what is the difference it and the others?

Type R is vtec engine with sportier gearing with lsd and no options or auto(save weight) ~fastest integra

gs-r is usually fully loaded with a vtec engine and i think sportier gearing and no auto option. ~second fastest integra


all others (ls, gs, rs) are pretty much the same, no vtec, probly able to get some options but they aren't standard ~not worth it unless planning forced induction

i said that those options weren't standard equipment AKA OPTIONS. and i never said that you couldn't get them on different trim models.
besides he asked a question and that is the easiest way to describe the differences between the trim models and the most common differences.

the 2nd gen isnt that much lighter, at leats not from where i got the weights, it says the curb weight of the 94 LS is 2643 and the 92 LS is only 20 pounds less at 2623. I dont have a way to confirm these are correct but maybe somebpdy else can.

OK well if you want to be that way. First off, my 87 Daytona will give you a good run the way it is now. However, this week I am buying an upgrade ECU which increases boost and I am installing an intercooler some time soon. I am pretty sure I will be hitting atleast low 14's with that. BTW, my mods are intake, exhaust, soon ECU and intercooler. So with 2K I have a low 14 second car. You probably have about 3-4K just in mods, let alone what you paid for the car.

I believe that is accurate. I guess they figured they could sell more ITR's if they had more luxuries.

I really hate to bring you down from the high you must have from all the crack you smoke but your car with the mods listed will not see 13's and if you are in the 14's it is high 14's which is not good enough to tell ppl to bring it to wherever. One of the third gen non-vtecs , either Rs, GS, or LS is just as light, if not lighter than your integra.

Kind of in his defense, he said unless you run 13's-that doesn't mean he runs 13's, he means he runs 14's so you need a 13 second car to beat him. But with 150 WHP he would only be running high 14's at best. The ITR has like 165 WHP and it does 14.7, so 15 flat would probably be a good time for him.

I definitely agree. Stock looking sleepers are sweet. Of course the wheels and pipe on the back are kinda a give-away, but hey it looks good and thats all that matters. I've always love 2G tegs. I almost bought one but the used car salesman was being a dick. Oh well.
