Hi, after a break of 6 years I'll ´start to build models again. I never build a car model before. For the begining I'll order a Skyline GT-R V-spec II from Tamiya. My local dealer doesn't have Tamiya colors, so I have to order them with the Skyline Model. I would be very happy if you could tell me which colors I need for a Skyline. For the body I'll use blue. (I know the most Skylines are blue, but it's my first model car). I think I'll use Mica Blue, because it looks good on the photos I saw. But which colors would you use for the interior (I think it should be something like grey or black), for the rims, the metal parts, etc.? I hope you can help me ....

Sorry for my bad english ...

Welcome to AF!!

The instructions that come with the kit will have the colors you need charted out.

For example, the interior of a stock Skyline is grey, and Tamiya's instructions call for their XF-63 German Grey with XF-54 Dark Sea Grey highlights.

Thank you! But which color would you use for all the silver metall parts, the rims (I know, that you can use a lot of colours, but I prefer white or a very dark grey) and at least which color would you use for titan (or maybe chrom) parts?

I misunderstood your question, then re-edited my post.

The instructions will have a list of colors needed like this:
