I'm looking for some picture of the rear engined Twigo V10 which was presented at the Paris motorshow in 1994 but my research hasn't been succesfull yet. I found some of scale models but none of the full one. If anyone got any clue on where I could find some that would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Just looked everwhere, i cant find any...

you could just email Renault's press team and ask for one... say you're a journalist, or an artist at university and you need pics for a project. Im sure they'd say yes if you asked nicely :)

You mean the RENAULT Espace F1 with formula 1-V10-engine and 800hp.

Yep! I know it sound crasy but they had this project in mind. However, I think it was only a full scale model, I don't remember them going into the prototype stage like with the espace F1.

I remember a scale model, yes, but never saw a Twingo V10...got pictures of a 4x4 Twingo, a 2.0 16V, a 1.4 gtTurbo, a jet Twingo...but no V10

People who have no idea about this shouldn't be telling others that there was no such thing!!!

Believe it or not there never was any intention by Renault to make even a prototype Twingo V10. I happen to remember that when Renault first showed to the World the Twingo back in 1993 they also had a 1:10 (or thereabouts) scale model of a Twingo V10 on the same stage just for the hell of it! . To quote Autocar it was ''just for laughs''! So this explains why people have only seen scale models of it or read about it but no one has ever seen a picture of a full car even at prototype stage. Renault have a sense of humour that's all! It was never intended for production...just as most 1:1 prototypes we see at shows aren't..

This is a negative comment, french people, please look away.

C'est un commentaire négatif, le français, regardent svp loin.

If Renault made a 1:10 scale, then why wouldn't they just make a full size model? Seem's these french companies are getting lazy with their cars. I guess it's from all the cheese and wine...

A Twingo V10? :screwy:

If you ever saw one you'd knew they were joking. It's just impossible:lol:
Strange sense of humour but hey...

Porscheguy : je n'ai pas pu résister à te lire ! ;)

But I don't understand why you're saying that. Look at the current production, there are many interesting French cars today. Some models :
Citroën :
C3, C4, C5, C6, C4 Picasso
Peugeot : 207, 307, 407, 607
Renault : Clio, Mégane, Laguna, Espace

For the concept car, look on the current Mondial of Paris 2006 :
Peugeot 908 RC concept
Citroën C-Métisse
Renault Koléos and Twingo II concept.

twingo is most little than a v10 engine ! Maybe they have tryed to put a twingo on a V10...

And even if i don't look at why wine and cheese are a consequence of the french production i agree to say that there's no dream or passion with the french cars...if they were making good car that s would be known...
