Moderator

No offense to aves911 or anything, but it seems he doesnt frequent the site very often. I figure it would be fair to let someone who does frequent the site a 'promtion' of sorts.
I posted a thread in the section where it would mabey get some attention, but it seems the admins, havent had time to reply yet. Any thoughts on the subject?

yea aves911 isnt here to often.. but then again this board is pretty calm.. no real problems so there is no real need of a modrator..

it would be nice to have 1 that is here more often tho.. but still once regulars like us are around we keep things in place..

but to become a moderator you have to be here for a while and have a good post count..

i agree with talon, it would be better to have a moderator that frequented this forum more often, but at the same time i havnt ever seen the moderator have to do anything on this forum either, so really it wouldn't be a big change.IMO

I think Aves spends his time more in the Lancer forum , And we have YogsVR4 , who is pretty active in the 3000GT forum , but indeed we may need a mod here , if nothing else just to put in an appearance every few hours or so. I do think the older wiser DSMer's , such as myself , 95GSXracer , and a couple others , seem to do a good job policing the younger ones , but it would be nice to have an actual mod participating in our conversations. Nothing keeps the BS down quite like an active mod. :nono:

I'd love to be the mod here but most would go into fits if that happen. :wink:

I was asked to be a mod several months ago but I turned it down. I think that an active membership can keep the board calm and under control pretty well on its own. The mods only need to bring out the big stick once and awhile around here.

this forum doesnt need a active mod.. there is enough regulars here such as myself 95gsxracer,talon007.rockingwrx, and many others who names slip me right now.. as longs as regulars are here we keep shit running here.. no 1 realy lashes out there.. itz a pretty good forum..

I've just come from the Galant forums, where you might things would be pretty peaceful [me being pretty much the only person in there regularly] but, lo and behold, there's a 4-page flame war going on because there's no mod around to shut them up.

I'm a mod/admin on half a dozen other sites, and I'm usually busy enough working on cars, but if no one steps up I can do it. I'm also fairly new on this particular site, so if the other members arent comfortable with it, thats fine too. :wink:
