If I remember Pman did this car with some difficulty you may want to ask him about tips for it. He had the same problem with the front part. But I guess his kiwi bot fixed it for him

You don't spray red on the front? Or is that decal?

yes, its a decal, I also build this model, and well... I had to repaint it .... about three times, but it was when I was learning how to give a gloss finish, and I tried three different kind of paints, but eventhough the fluorescent red on the front is a decal, like all the other fluorescent red, the rear wing, and the hole of the front lights... must be painted, but its easy to mas the lights, do as shown in the attached post a few posts up, prime if you want, white, then mask with a thin ??, I think that this is the word, masking tape, you'll need it really thin to make the corners, its difficult, but not imposible to get a good line, paint green... and... you got it!

I have this kit too, but I messed it up. I used some sorta bizarre spray can that was total crap. Then I tried to fix it by painting some more crap paint overtop of the first crap. Then, to top it all off, something in me seemed to think that if I applied a crappy clear-coat overtop, it would fix everything!! What a disaster for such a nice kit.

I've tried every stripper on it and it's just a mess. Some of it came off, but other sections are just dried in thick layers that look spotty all over the car. I can't even sand the thing because it's such a mess!! Oh... I'm getting depressed just thinking about it...

some red pieces use decals, but for the front lights and the wing you need to pain, and you only need to use the tamiya spray can, but personally I preffer to use it with my airbrush for the frontlight cause if not... you'll waste a lot of paint to get the paint into, but with airbrush the paint when dryes looks flat, really flat, and need a lot of work, for the wing use the can, and If i remember well, the rest are decals
