Where do I place my PSONE?

I got a one new PSONE (the ones with an lcd screen) today from my friend Ben for $10. It came with a car adaptor too and I want to set it in my car but the only problem is I don't know where. I want to put it in front of my shifter but there isn't enough room. It will fit if I take the bottom piece off of my radio/AC housing though but you can see ugly metal brackets if it sets there. So where could I put it? It is exactly 7.5" wide by 1" thick. The lcd screen can bend all the back to where it is almost level with the PS1 but I want to have it bent half way up. Here is a pic of one.

Hey i had the same thing in my 88 hatch...heres what i did. I took some double sided velcro and put it on the bottom of the ps1 and some on my dash on the passenger side...mount it there it looks really good there.

i know on my crx above the clock is like a flat cubby space kinda thing under the windshield, maybe rest it up there?
