i drive a 3rd gen maxima...
mods: only Y pipe.
every time i go over around 115-120(km/h)..which is around 70miles/hour i think... even though i float the accelerator ..the RPM won't go over 4000???? why??

car just isnt powerful enough. i dont know??? :confused:

no man....the engine at least have 160hp man....!!...i think something wrong in the tranny...!!...it`s supposed to downshift.....;)

It could be tranny related. But it could also be you catalyc converter, mine did the same thing when it went out.
