dc header question please HELP!!!

hello everyone i have a b16a jspec 1.6 dohc vtec and my friend has a dc 4-1 ceramic header from a 1.6 sohc vtec ex motor i would like to know if this header would fit on my engine because he is willing to give it to me for free so im curious if it will work cause if so i will take it cause its "FREE".... any info would help thanks...

nope cant interchange any parts between SOHC and DOHC engines, as well as parts from different motor famlies(ex, the header is from a d-series motor, and your engine is a b-series)

are you guys positive about this... cause if there is a way for it to fit shit this would save me so much cash...

It's a fact. D series parts are interchangable with D series. B series with B.

my suggestion is to go ahead and get it from your friend....sell it and use that cash to buy a b-series header.
or
find someone who wants to do a trade.
