Service Dept. is a laugh

My friend just recently bought a 1994 Civic EX and it already had an aftermarket gauge face on it. We had a very simple question..."What is the stock redline on a 94 EX". Appearently it wasn't a very simple question for the Official Honda Dealership. We went to see if they had a 92-95 on the lot to just glance inside but we couldn't find any. Since we didn't have any luck we walked into the service department. Of course they would know. This is their job. ha! We asked the person that takes all the inquiries and schedules work to be done. This idiot said that the redline for a 94 was 4000rpms with authority. Yeah right. I just thought that this was kind of funny that the people that are supposed to know Honda's inside and out can't even tell me where the red starts on the tach.
BTW: How does this new "Reputation" thing work on AF?
