I changed my mind...

After rollin with Mike for a bit today, (90civicracer), and hearing his new ZC motor, I think i want to go zc for my car, at least for now. But I'm stumped, the only place I can find a DOHC ZC is hmotorsonline.com, and they want 525 for just a longblock, no ECU or tranny. Does anyone know where I can get a complete changeover for a DOHC ZC?

i thought 90civicracer had a sohc zc ... hes the one with the white 4 door right?

ummm u can have mine so i can get a real engine in my car, lol. I know ive only had it for less than a month but if i could sell it i would and get a B-series.

yeah i only do have a SOHC which is aka the d16a6 which i had in my EX but i think he just likes it compared to his 1.5 DPFI compared to my 1.6 MPFI. Only reason i have a SOHC ZC is cuz the d16a6 went out and this was cheaper.

Hey Melt, I know he's got a single, but I couldn't reason to do a whole swap for the little hp gain there, I'd rather do a DOHC swap for the average 130 or so hp. But yeah, I did know that he's only got a SOHC, I was with him for part of the day, and I looked at it...so... :flipa:

Yeah it looked pretty clean too, had the emblems removed, but when you looked up close, they didnt do anything with the holes, just left them... :frown: , however you couldnt really tell since the paint was still in good condition, oh and by the way, its was dark blue mike, god get your eyes checked... :sunglasse

What do u mean u want to know the info. Info such as the specs on it or like what ecu and tranny u need or price or what? Be more specific, lol.

im convinced the previous owner didnt change any of that shit ... im probably still running the dx tranny, ecu, etc.

By info I mean, where can I get it, besides hmotorsonline.com, and how much its goin to be. Im checkin nippon motors right now, but does anyone know where else to get a DOHC ZC with tranny and ecu included and how much its gonna cost?

What makes u say that. And would the dx tranny and ecu even run your car or what?

because they just dropped it in ... it most likely came with a complete mpfi manifold but they were probably too lazy or inept to wire it up.
