I am having many problems @ 58000 miles. It sux. 1st problem is not starting sometimes. it turns over fine sounds kinda like fuel injectors need cleaning maybe? i've replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the throttle bodies, ran 3 bottles of injector cleaners and 1 octane booster through it. sometimes it starts and dies out or the rpm's will fluctuate for a few seconds.
:crying:
2nd problem is my coolant light has come on 3 times in the past 2 months. each time i look for a leak and add coolant. haven't found a leak yet. it is hot here in lower alabama but never had this problem before. temp. gauge never goes up but i dont run low on coolant long before i add some.

3rd problem is not that bad except my console lever is not working good how do i get it apart? sometimes it won't open at all :banghead:

This is what the gm service bulletin says about that center console:

Apply GM Dri SlideŽ Lubricant, P/N 1052948 to the center console lid latch using the following procedure:

1. Open the center console lid. If the lid will not open, press in the center console latch handle button and give the top of the center console lid a sharp rap with your hand in order to open the lid.
2. Working through the opening in the latch trim plate, apply a small amount of lubricant to the center console latch at the locations shown in the illustration above, while operating the center console latch. Operating the center console latch while spraying the lubricant will help work the lubricant into the latch mechanism. It is not necessary to remove the center console latch trim plate.
3. Open and close the center console lid several times in order to verify the proper operation of the lid latch.

I fixed mine before the bulletin came out. I actually pulled the consule apart though. Open the lid, put four fingers from each hand into both plastic pockets by the latch. Push down hard, clench your fingers toward the back of the truck, and lift up while pressing hard towards the back of the truck. Apply any grease you want to any moving parts. I have had no problems since and it's been a year.

Also on that startup, try getting a new fuel pump relay. It's alot cheaper than a fuel pump. Turn the key to the on position without starting it. Listen for a whining noise. If you can hear it, your fuel pump is good and your relay is most likely bad. If you can't hear it, scrounge up some dough cause fuel pumps are expensive. Its a 90% chance that it is one of those two things.

Here is a good question, did you run out of gas? If so did you have to replace a fuse to get your truck started again. See, GM has this great way of cooling off their electrical componets in some instances, like with fuel to cool off the electrical in the fuel pump. When that fuse goes after running out of gas, that means that two little wires decided to get real hot and melt and touch each other and the only way to remedy that is with a new fuel pump. On that coolant problem, does it leak or go to some magical place. You shouldn't have to fill it up at all, unless it got really hot and overflowed out of the bottle. Look for a gooey mess at the end of the overflow hose. If there is none there and you don't think your truck gets that hot, that coolant is going to a little place called your transmission by means of osmosis or black magic, or maybe a couple of black hoses, I'm not sure though. Check and see if you have an unusual amount of fluid in your tranny. If so call the dealer or call autotrader, cause some expensive stuff needs to be fixed that isn't for a do-it-yourselfer.
