First day at Uni

That's right folks it's the first day of my second year here at the wondrous U of S A. Posting up from the computer lab for my CIS 150 class. Basically it's an intro to computers for complete idiots. Oh well...incoming teacher gotta go! Oh yeah and on the way to school today, some idiot dump truck slung two rocks and busted my windshield. Hooray!(School=no fun!)

I am not planning on attending a university I am just gonna take some computer classes like MCSE + I, Novell, CISCO while I am still enlisted because it's free :D

I didn't know they offered a formal Automotive Engineering major at uni. I always thought people who wanted to do that take Mechanical Engineering and focus on topics that pertain to the automotive field.

PS this course is 4 years long and i get a Masters Degree at the end of it. There's also a whole class on Turbochargers. YAY!

no such thing as a regular uni

there are 10 or 15 universities that do the course. including the Race Automotive Engineering

argh, I'm soooo jealous, maybe I'll switch Univeristies and head really far east.

thats not good you need to be good at math to do Engineering.

I'm hopefully heading off down south next year to do Mechanical Engineering, there's no universities here that do automotive, but I need to get some math stuff sorted out before I can go. Still, I can't wait, I'm fucking excited :D

In year 3 MEng students take Mechanical Design and Manufacture M, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer 2M, Dynamics of Machines and Structures M, Finite Element Theory and Applications, Business Analysis and Advanced Mathematics.

In year 4 you take Strategic Management, Marketing Analysis and Financial Strategic Planning, and four options from Industrial Machine Vision, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Engine Testing and Instrumentation, Mechanical Dynamics, Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Finite Element Modelling, Heat Transfer Applications and Turbomachinery and Turbocharging, alongside a group project.
