He will probably do exactly what he has been doing this year, turning in some very respectable and consistent results.

I know, he's been brilliant in turkey and without a manufacturer supported car. It's a great chance for him to be able at last to to a full season with a team. Must admit that this new ruling gives some good opportunities to some of the drivers, Loix he's nearly at peugeot and this should be a one to watch too.

And around comes the usual question, how long can this new rule last?
If some of the drivers that are landing seats in top seats for next season perform better in the better cars and actually podium, they eliminate themselves for the 2005 season again.
Eventually we will end up with more drivers that are not qualified to fill a third seat than the number of seats available and then what will happen?

Same here, for exemple if Loix sign for Peugeot (again sorry), he has the skill to win an event... "Nice win mate but we're sorry you're sacked". Also when it came in, it was specifficaly targeting Peugeot and Citroen which were at the time flying over the rest, which is not true anymore. But moreover it could have meant to loose Sainz or Mc Rae (no free space due to transfert). I really don't think it will be kept next year, it's a bit like the genius F1 idea to have the pilot driving different car through the season.

This new rules start to be really silly now :screwy: . Just went on the autosport site with an interview of Mc Rae who, regarding Sainz result, is not favorite to stay at citroen. So he seem to have three choise now, Hyundai, Skoda, or retirement.... no comment.
And they say it's for cost cutting while they pushing to add 2 more rallies to the calendar... come onnnn!

so far no one has lost a ride. Just moved around. Subaru had no 3rd driver, and mitsu is coming back. Mcrae is prolly going to end up there.
