Got my first car when I was 13 it was a 79 Olds cutlass supreme with the 350 Diesel Paid 700.00.
Yanked the diesel out of it and dropped a 350 olds in to it. Drove it for about 3 years after that.

While I don't own a car, I have driven quite a few cars. The first one? A 1996 VW Passat GLX VR6.
For a top of the line Sedan, it sucks. The turning base is too wide, and it must take, like, 10 seconds to get to 60. Yawn. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon11.gif

My father gave me his old 1993 BMW 850Csi, but before I was able to show my friends, I forgot about the clutch when I shifted, I shifted into fourth gear, grinding the transmisson, and the car came to halt, and I got reared by a Ford Explorer who was tailgating. So, it was a result of it being taken away, and instead, I got my moms old BMW 535i, which still was a great car, but at least automatic.

'92 Chevy Berretta with 160K miles on it. It was blue and the hubcaps had been painted to match :loser: . Drove it for about 3 months and in that time the radiator, suspension, fuel pump and tranny all went bad. Traded it in on my current car :iceslolan

The second car I had I worked for and paid for, everything from insurance to maintinence. It was a 1997 Chevy Impala SS, after my mother's old BMW got too many miles on it. It was a great car. Appearence wasn't the best but the engine, when you put the pedal down, it flew. But I encountered alot of battery problems.

Actually, the Yugo is parked for a press shot. The flying car being trailed by the enormous oil smoke cloud is a Mitsubishi Minica.

First was a 93 nissan pathfinder XE. Man that truck was so much fun. I would cause so much trouble in that thing, and it would often end up a brown color. Who say's SUV's cant go piggin?!
Second was (is) an 87 mazda rx-7. Lotsa fun too, but lotsa speeding tickets and whatnot. And sportscar + ice = even more fun than truck + ice.

I'm still driving my first car....and I, too, paid 3 grand for it (I paid off what my parents owed). It's a 1996 Honda Accord Ex...with about 134k miles on it. Hopefully I can get a 2nd car soon (and make the Accord a project car). I'd love to get an S2000 before they stop making them.

Bought it that way, in fact, the dealership that sold it originally, had only the top half painted black, but then the guy who bought it dropped $5k on a new paint job. I'd scan the original pic, but I'm too lazy.

1st, B13 Sentra SE, blk, 5spd.
2nd (and current) 1994 Infiniti G20, silver, auto.
Funny new-driver story, my friend Kendra was spinning around in the mud in her dad's truck and lost control, hitting a pole, making a 3" deep dent in the driver's side door. The truck was so muddy, her dad didn't find out until 8 months later, when he washed it.

The best birthday gift I have ever recieved was my current auto. After graduating med-school being one of three of the top students, the first ting I came home to unexpected was a black fully loaded 2002 Audi S8, with only 27 miles on it, I apologize if I seem to brag, but it's just a very sincere gift after my big acomplishment, graduating from Harvard Medical School with an MD, and PhD in Orthopedic surgery.
