People and our world...

you know i just dont get people.. people can be sooo damn ignorant and selfish.. i really am starting to hate people these days. half are two faced a fourth are ignorant and the other quarter well you might find some decent ones in there... but oh well.. what do you guys think..

I had been formulating a new post in my mind called "No Truth" about this very subject to be submitted soon. But yes, there has been a serious down-turn in the sttitudes of many in our society. It has become cool to be a bitch or asshole. Nice people usually don't get the respect anymore, just those that are unkind to others. I don't know what can be done about it (you could always escape it by moving elsewhere - I have a lot of admiration for the ideals of Japanese society, where honor in everyday life still holds meaning), or if we can expect to see a change, but I definitely hear you.

exactly.. i have noticed it a lot in women nowadays.. i mean hell a lot of em dont like to be treated "the right way" anymore.. they like to be treated like shit.. im not that type of guy and when i am nice to a girl and they give me a wierd look it makes me feel like a weirdo.. i just dont get it anymore!

You're especially right about the women. The good thing is, that some women just act high and mighty and bitchy, but are still nice people underneath all that. So you meet a new chick, and in as little as five minutes, that negative exterior melts away and they.. "let themselves out," if you will. Works well for me, as this is a good approach to scoring, and I myself being a nice guy, needs only the cocky and arrogant exterior to get my foot in the door, and then I can be myself. And then there are some, who as you said, just like to be shat on. It's a sad state of affirs. I wonder if this is some deep-seeded sub-conscience human quality that allows both guys and girls to fall for people who treat tham like garbage?

I know, to an extent I have figured it all out, but I still don't see why the bullshit needs to be necessary. I have a good friend who happens to be a girl, and we constantly talk about dating, and how no matter what, you need to start out playing that game, as much as it sucks and is bullshit, you've gotta play to be a contender.

I think that only the ignorant find most people to be worhtless/evil/harmful. A wise man once said "only the stupid fail to find the worth in others". Put simply, if you can't find good in another, it's probably because you are blind. Everyone has something to offer, and the inability to see that is ample evidence of one's own shortcomings.

yeah well i think it is todays society.. women try to act and have a role similar to the guys, meaning they try to act stronger if you will because there are so many bad guys out there.. i think your right in saying that you just have to let that bad exterior melt away... but i have had a lot of girls to where it just dont melt away lol :)..

Yeah, people do lick nuts these days. It sucks. I mean, to be a moral person, or to be nice only gets you laughed at or ridiculed.

yeah well i mean i do end up getting the best and best looking women eventually but i mean it takes longer!! lol.... and sometimes ya just have to be a playa cause even us guys need some lovin :)...
